Cambridge Z88: Disastrous LCD Fix, or Was It?
In this journal entry I'll show what happened when I tried fixing the LCD screen of my Cambridge Z88. It had a column of pixels that wouldn't turn on and I thought that a simple disassembly by a clean of the circuit board would do the trick. That turned out to be disastrously wrong and opening up the screen broke it. I had to figure out a way to fix it to recover my 80's laptop that I've owned since late 1989.
