Two Suspects, Three Guns - APD Arrests Two More Suspects Breaking Into Cars
Just after midnight on October 4, 2024, Atlanta Police Zone 6 officers were canvassing the area of 395 Chamberlain St. SE for suspects involved in a vehicle break-in where a firearm had been stolen. Officers located two suspects hiding behind a dumpster. In the immediate area, they recovered three loaded firearms, each with a round in the chamber. Further investigation confirmed that two of the three firearms were confirmed to be stolen from vehicles.
The suspects were identified as 20-year-old Major McKee and 23-year-old Jaaziah Summerbell.
Major McKee was charged with Entering Automobile with Intent to Commit a Theft, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Theft by Taking, and Criminal Trespass.
Jaaziah Summerbell was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Entering Automobile with Intent to Commit a Theft, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Theft by Taking, and Criminal Trespass.
