Zone 5 FIT Arrest Suspect Wanted For Murder Out Of North Dakota
On October 18, 2024, Zone 5 Field Investigative Team (F.I.T.) were notified by the U.S. Marshals regarding a suspect wanted out of North Dakota for Murder. Suspect, Leo Dartoe, 34, was said to be in the Atlanta area near Five Points.
Using a BOLO, officers canvassed the area looking for Mr. Dartoe. During the search, a Sergeant noticed the suspect near Woodruff Park and quickly notified other officers. Collectively, they were able to quickly apprehend Mr. Dartoe without incident.
Great coordination and teamwork by this unit to capture a dangerous wanted criminal who was out walking around in our city!
