Maximum and Minimum Values of a Function
In this video I will discuss the difference between absolute maximum and minimum values and relative (or sometimes called local) maximum and minimum values. I will also show you how to find these on a TI-84 graphing calculator. Note that not all functions have maximum or minimum values. The study of relative maximum and minimum values will be important when we study increasing and decreasing intervals in the next lesson.
