Increasing and Decreasing Intervals
In this video, I will briefly show you how to find increasing and decreasing intervals for functions. Some functions such as a linear function or a square root function will continually increase or decrease over the entire function. In general, functions only change from increasing to decreasing at a maximum or minimum point. When discussing the intervals where functions are increasing or decreasing, be sure to note that you are looking for the x-values (domains) that make the y-values (range) increase or decrease.
