S05 E83 - In this very special Episode, I take a heartfelt trip to visit my dear friends @WaggiesCruising on their home turf of #looe #cornwall
Let's not forget that this is one of the finest #boating and #sailing areas in the UK and no trip would be complete without a trip to #Cawsand Bay, and a quick trip across the border to #Kingsand in #devon! Actually, this quaint village is split into two and both Devon and Cornwall claim it for their own!
I take a moment to pay my respects to three young members of the #royalmarines 45 Commando, who sadly lost their lives in Cawsand Bay in 1968 as well as have the usual chatter and fun before sitting, with a beer, watching darkness fall across the late spring and early summer evening.
There are many reasons that I have not been able to discuss as to why this has been a sentimental and special journey, and one I am eternally grateful that I was able to undertake.
