Skier falls 1600 feet - and survives!
A skier took a fast, painful, way down a mountain, tumbling 1,600 feet along the way. Professional skier Ian McIntosh rolled down an Alaskan mountain, which was captured on video. Somehow, professional skier Ian McIntosh survived with his life after tumbling all the way down the slope as seen in the extreme video posted last week by Teton Gravity Research. The Canadian skiing pro can be heard and seen cartwheeling down the 1600 feet after losing a ski. “From there, my slough took over and there was no way to stop. I pulled my airbag to help prevent against any possible trauma injuries as I tumbled to the bottom,” he said. Todd Jones, co-founder of the sports media company that captured the crazy footage, says McIntosh’s fall “was the most terrifying crash I’ve ever seen.”
