Totality BTV is a community storytelling project pooling documentary material from a class of 18 first-year students at The University of Vermont. Taught by CRVT Director Richard Watts, CAS 1020: Sustainable Vermont is part of an integrated experience for students in the Liberal Arts Scholars Program. To document a shared experience of Burlington's total eclipse on April 8, 2024, Burlington-based artist & mediamaker Trish Denton joined the class to co-create this project.

All video was collected in and around Burlington, Vermont on the day of the ecplise. The featured audio is both from the field, as well as post-ecplise reflections by the students the week after the event. All interviews and imagery have been used with proper consent.
