Taught by CRVT Director Richard Watts, CAS 1020: Sustainable Vermont is part of an integrated experience for students in UVM's Liberal Arts Scholars Program. To document a shared experience of the total eclipse on April 8, 2024, Burlington-based artist & mediamaker Trish Denton visited the class to facilitate this project.

All video was collected in and around Burlington, Vermont on the day of the ecplise. The featured audio is both from the field, as well as post-ecplise reflections by the students the week after the event. All interviews and imagery have been used with proper consent.
