Digester Pilot at Lulu Island Wastewater Treatment Plant
Mini digester tanks at Lulu Island Wastewater Treatment Plant are testing ways to produce more natural gas from wastewater solids. If the pilot is successful, Metro Vancouver will use these technologies in the full-sized tanks at its wastewater treatment plants and will continue testing new digester technologies in the coming years.
