Have a good mooooo ... Then we drive to the edge of Qatar, near Al Zubarah, where a historic fort listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site stands. We wander around it and the surrounding wilderness, but it quickly becomes clear that the further we go from Doha, the more desolate the country becomes. Fewer people, few attractions, and vast expanses of desert.
Finally, I summarize my entire trip to Qatar and consider how this country compares to other Middle Eastern countries. Is it worth visiting? Or are other destinations in the region better?
