Next half for Strider Man, and lasers galore. Timed lasers, swirling lasers, sky lasers, stationary lasers... so many lasers. Just a massive amount of deaths trying to get through this thing and get the timings for events correct to be humanly doable. Despite the blood bath, I decided to stick with it being pretty brutal (in my opinion at least). When combined with the tweaked boss aggression, sorta feels like a final stage. But as shown, I did muddle through it as basic Mega while only popping some life tanks, so it is doable. Ironically in the second half when taking a leveled up Bass, I did worse on the boss. His desperation move just smashes even with defensive talents.
Inflicting pain on myself aside, also did some color tweaks since the stage portion wanted a bit more purply rather than blue to be like Strider's outfit (Boss room aside to tell'm apart). Also music is still being shuffled around in lots of places, so Breath of Fire II's song he had before is going elsewhere.
Thought it would be funny to yoink a more recent Ninja Gaiden song for'm since I remember the NES ones bopping. When looking up ones past the SNES era though, was sad to see they went with like orchestra stuff with a totally different energy.
Anyhow, that leaves Psycho Man of the 20 robot master stages with digging around and fleeing from killers for the planned gimmicks.
