My first time on the ice with a new Bauer 3S Pro. I can't believe how light it is! I'm also extremely impressed with how non-pingy it felt when pucks hit it. Not only that, but this is the first stick I've ever had where I actually felt the grip was good enough to use it without stretch tape! It's also a departure from cutting my stick paddles to a custom shape. I really can't recommend the Bauer 3S Pro stick enough!
As for my actual on-ice abilities... well, they're getting better. I'm starting to get a little less winded and less tired overall. My angles and reflexes are still nowhere near where they were before the shutdowns, but I hadn't been on the ice consistently since last fall.
