Pickup Hockey - August 23, 2020
I left all my stuff in the dryer and had to borrow from other players. I managed to get a pair of clean skate socks, but had no long underwear or my long sleeve shirt so I was wearing all my gear on top of the shorts and t-shirt I arrived in. Thank god I wasn't in jeans!
I also didn't have the socks I wear over my knee pads to hold them in place - thankfully I was wearing new Passau knee pads so they weren't going anywhere.
I got all my gear on and realized I also had no jersey. Managed to get somebody's XXL player jersey to wear.
What a mess. But I played... decently. First time I wasn't absolutely dying out there since I started skating post-shutdown!
