Members of the public give their impressions and thoughts on the Bondi Junction stabbings, the day after it occurred, in Oxford Street mall, Bondi Junction. At the time it had been established that Joel Cauchi, a 40 year old man from Queensland with mental health issues had fatally stabbed six people, five of them women. A floral tribute has been set up in Oxford Street mall and support groups are on site to comfort those affected by the tragedy. As this was the day after the crime, the shopping centre was still a crime scene and closed to the public, and the full investigation into the crime had not been completed and all the facts behind the incident have not been made public by police.
