One Health Bangladesh, a multidisciplinary platform dealing with health threats at the human-animal - environmental interface, has been organizing a series of webinars in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The set of webinars is being organized in partnership with Global Health Development (GHD).
The COVID-19 pandemic is continuing to spread across the world and claim life. South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, are facing tremendous challenges to tackle health threats. In many ways, the COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be a moving target. One Health approach recognizes the interconnectedness of human-animal in a complex ecosystem. It promotes the multidisciplinary and multisectoral coordination at local, national, regional, and global level to tackle future pandemic like COVID-19.
