Despite competitors having more backlinks, BSM’s superior content secured a higher rank. One notable backlink came from About.me, a platform Chris recommends for sharing resources and event information. BSM used it to promote an upcoming online SEO training course, strategically placing a link to the SEO guide at the bottom of the listing, which Google recognized as a high-quality backlink.
