Respect isn’t something we demand from kids—it’s something we model. 💡
When a child is struggling, do they still feel respected? Do they feel heard, valued, and understood—even when they’ve made a mistake? If we shame them, belittle them, or make them feel less than, their behavior will only escalate. Instead, we need to:
✔️ Help them save face 🏆
✔️ Show we understand (even if we don’t agree) 🤝
✔️ Treat them with respect—even when they aren’t giving it back ✨
