Large scale 3D modelling and whole drinking water plant modelling
This is another globally unique advanced modelling project. Together with the leading drinking water utility PWN (Netherlands) we performed large scale CFD and integrated modelling to optimise mixing in large water basins and develop a dynamic plant wide model for integrated assessment (i.e. 'what-if' scenario testing). The model was extremely well validated with different measurements and available datasets and is now being used to improve plant operation at different levels.
