The Whimsical Titans were never supposed to exist. Their existence was an unintended outcome of the continental split many years before. A spark of musical energy somewhere deep in the monster world's core created new life. The Whimsical Monsters hadn't yet developed at this point, but they were soon to come.
Each unique Whimsical Monster formed under the harshest of conditions that most monsters would not be able to handle. And because of these harsh conditions, their musical life force was unstable. Combining their energy with the energy of the other monsters roaming the world caused an tear in the musical continuum due to the overload. To save itself, the monster world tore a wormhole open for each Whimsical Titan and their respective monsters to an alternate dimension where their energy could be properly contained, rather than destroyed.
Though, the Whimsical Monsters don't know their existence is flawed, so they're left to assume. They believe their new mirror-world home was a gift from the Celestials, and treat their new lives as a celebration. They believe they've been given a new chance at life, and they will stop at nothing to enjoy every waking second of it.
