As one would expect, Gearheads weren't born naturally, but handmade by an unknown creator. Though, a crafty little monster came along and reverse engineered the Gearheads initial, lifeless prototype, and gave them sentience and a musical life force! Thanks to that monster, Gearhead was able to create new life with their musical energy!
Rare Gearhead was created as a navigational assistant for pirates. They could connect to the ship and redirect the crew to wherever they needed to go! Though, after a really hectic sea storm, the Rare Gearhead fell into the sea, stumbling upon a siren queen, who saw the poor mechanism, not yet given life. She handed off some of her musical power to the Rare Gearhead and gave it the ability to sing freely, on land and sea.
