Bowies are rather fascinated with the fauna of the Human Realm. At least the depictions the Monsters have made. Their fascination with the Human Realm animals influences their life style greatly, often enacting or mimicking the mannerisms of the their favorite animals. The most common animal they mimic are birds. All of differing species and sizes, but birds as a whole seem to take hold of Bowies' minds!
Common Bowies were formed at the end of a very harsh thunder storm. However, there's a rare defect where a Bowie can be created at the apex of the storm, causing them to be infused with the energy of lightning as opposed to the rainbow variant that's more frequent. This rare defect doesn't change anything about the Bowie's musical life force, other than its physical appearance. Their general personality is also a lot more electric!
