Conic Section Reflectors: A Demonstration
This is a demonstration for how parallel rays of light reflect off of mirrors that take the shape of various conic sections. In this video, I demonstrate a circular mirror, an elliptical mirror, a parabolic mirror, a hyperbolic mirror, and a plane mirror. The video goes quite quickly, so don't be afraid to watch it multiple times and pause at key moments.
