Tooth abscess
Dr.Aster : Today's topic is Tooth abscess. An abscessed tooth is formation of pus due to infection within a tooth that has spread to the root tip or around the root. it won’t get better on its own. If you don’t treat it, the infection can spread beyond your jaw to your neck, head, or other body parts. Dentists will treat tooth abscess by draining the pus and getting rid of the infection. They may be able to save your tooth with a root canal treatment, but in some cases the tooth may need to be pulled. Leaving a tooth abscess untreated can lead to serious, even life-threatening complications. Thank you.
