Today's episode is an easy project for the lathe. I combine three different types of wood - African Padauk, Cocobolo, and Purple Heart using various tools and then turned the final block on the lathe. I then added a braided 550 paracord lanyard to match the color of the purple heart inlay. To attached it to the GoPro, I used a standard GoPro to tripod mount and used a bolt the same size as a regular tripod head to embed into the handle. The bolt size is 3/8 inch 16 UNC thread cut at a height that works with my particular set up.
Thanks for watching! If you have any questions, let me know in the comments.
