🌊 Tsunamis can be devastating, but with early warning and preparedness, we can save lives. The United Nations Secretary-General has set a goal to ensure every person on earth is covered by an early warning system, but that’s only the first step. 🚨 Communities need to be ready to act.
Join the #GetToHighGround campaign and help raise awareness about tsunami risks and coastal hazards. This campaign, launched by the UNDRR on World Tsunami Awareness Day 2022, encourages people to participate in a symbolic run or walk along tsunami evacuation routes. 🌟 It’s a chance for everyone to help build more resilient communities and ensure no one is left behind when disaster strikes.
