This is one of the world’s oldest lakes. Lake Titicaca lies between Bolivia and Peru. The communities that live here have long suffered from disasters: droughts, flooding, erosion, and biodiversity loss. But since 1996, Peru and Bolivia have been cooperating to manage water-related risks. Experts from both countries work together to protect the lake and the surrounding community.
