Almost landing on closed runway
I keep finding new ways to screw up. Practicing for my cross country into an unfamiliar airport and didn't check the NOTAMs. Long runway was closed and I didn't notice it until the CFI said something. Then did a short approach onto the active and carried too much speed over the threshold leading to lots of floating. Finally, was way too slow to respond to a "go around" call from the CFI. I've got to get my chit together!!
