Borescope a Shilen
I have seen a number of videos showing Shilen barrels with lots of chatter marks. I just received my 22-250 Stainless Select Match Finish from Northland shooter supply and while I've installed it, I've not yet shot it. An inspection, from muzzle to chamber, with a Lyman borescope 2 yielded these results. Nary a chatter mark to be seen. Clear signs of lapping and a smooth even transition from barrel through throat and into chamber. Looks like Shilen quality is just as I expected it to be.
