Student pilot's eureka moment
Real short video that illustrates a profound insight for me. I've been landing OK but my CFI has been on me about keeping the nose wheel up. I have been putting the plane down just past the numbers (emphasis on me putting the plane down). I've come to realize the plane can and should land itself. Today I crossed the numbers, transitioned to flight just over the runway, flaired a bit and let the plane burn off energy and set ITSELF down. I'm sure I'm not the first to realize this but for me it is eye opening.
