While helping fix a power surge problem in Boston, Burt discovers playgrounds across the city are falling apart left and right, he calls on the rest of the Rangers to come investigate. As they find out from the kids playing on them, the playground equipment was rigged with prizes that encouraged rough play. When Squeeky suggests looking into the playground equipment manufacturer, the Rangers find themselves getting kidnapped one-by-one by the mastermind behind it all; an eccentric scientist named Quentin V.
