10 ways on how to become more productive with your Gmail

The goal of becoming productive is to spend the least amount of time as possible to reach your goal.
Maybe it’s to
1. Go through a huge amount of emails and accurately go through them
2. Send more efficient emails for meetings

I’ve been guilty of checking my email constantly throughout the day (10 or 20 times) and the middle of work.

What happens is that you are training your brain to seek out emails that disrupt your workflow is It takes 5-20 min to gain back that focus.

There's 4 things I want you to do
1. Execute
2. Archive
3. Defer
4. Delete

And I also want you to reach inbox zero even if it sounds really scary.
It hurt me at first and scared me at first and I just went ahead of it and my mind became super clear.

Here are 10 ways.
1. Use sub filters
They are folders that goes into the folder automatically and useful for spam, subscription or a newsletter

One problem I found out is that you forget about these emails so I solution I use is to schedule it later with the emails.

2. You can do something like [email protected] or [email protected]

And it’s very useful if you are shopping through e-commerce and want the discount and don’t want your inbox spammed.

3. Canned Response

This is an automatic that save up a lot of time when you are sending out a ton of emails

4. Undo send

Basically it happens and you are writing your emails 30 seconds back in time

5. Priority inbox

Star the email and then a separate inbox appears and it disappears in that inbox and makes it a lot easier to separate your emails.

6. Vacation Responder

It’s an automatic message

7. Gmail Smart Compose

Free Spellchecker

8. Search Operator

You don’t have a zero inbox yet and you can search a specific type of emails

9. Keyboard Shortcuts

I don’t really use them but you are constantly sending emails to know if you are spending a lot of time on it

10. Chrome type inbox and search from chrome Url
