I talk about books (that I've actually read...shocker I know...) on the copywriting books I recommend for beginners and intermediates who want to learn copy. Add me on twitter/insta: antnebel
1. Kick-Ass Copywriting Secrets Of A Marketing Rebel
His perspective of how to make copywriting exciting. Very easy to read and a bit of an investment but I think it’s pretty worth it.
2. Breakthrough Advertising of Eugene Schwartz
Cost a pretty penny it’s like the driest textbook filled with diamonds.
The better you get at copywriting the more information you can get. It has so much insights but it is very boring to read.
I couldn’t get probably half the information and recommend if you are serious but even though it cost a lot the investment can double or triple your investments.
3. The Boron Letters By Gary Halbert
I like this because it’s a story from the dad talking to his son in prison about how to grow up and make money with marketing. It’s very easy to read and it’s fun to read. He was very successful and I recommend giving it a go for since it’s only $10 and free on his website.
4. 7 Steps To Freedom By Benjamin D Suarez
I was skeptical on buying this because it is a Dinosaur showing you how to build businesses in the 1980s and how he became a successful copywriter. You should get this not just from the insights but how hard it was to start a business in the 1980s.
5. Tested Advertising Methods By John Caples
It’s a how-to informational guide from a famous copywriter and it’s like a straightforward way of writing how to write good copy.
I like it because it shows how someone who was successful made copywriting work for them. It’s easier to read and a lot easier to apply for your own business.
6. How to write a good advertisement by Victor O Schwab
It’s another how to straightforward guide on how to write copywriting. I really like this because it shows his thoughts on why these famous headlines work and just by understanding how it works back then you can use that pattern to change it for your own business.
7. The Robert Collier Letter Book
I still recommend this book even though It was my least the list just because it showed you the father of godfather in direct marketing.
His copywriting principles still works todays and you can make it work for your business today.
