Using yoga mats as her canvas, Preetika creates visually lush paintings and compositions that explore the artist’s frustration at limited representations of love but also the fulfilment that can be found through self-acceptance. Through this body of work, she has carved out a realm of play, fantasy and imagination, in which love knows no bounds or preconceived notions and we are all invited to find our own place.
Voices is an online curatorial programme intended to spark critical conversations by foregrounding new perspectives on the social, cultural, political and environmental issues of our time. Through digital exhibitions, extended projects, commissioned essays, interviews and live events, Voices offers a variety of avenues for engaging with the artists, curators, writers and thinkers whose work will come to define our collective consciousness.
