Norfolk and Western
After catching Norfolk & Western #475 and Strasburg #1 (Thomas) pass by at The Red Caboose, @Mrs.Plow_Bender (Jenna) and I decided to head further up the line to the crossing at Cherry Hill Road. Just up from the crossing is Groff's Picnic Grove, where there is also a rip track for trains to pass each other. On this occasion, Strasburg #1 has already left and is heading back towards East Strasburg.
Here N&W #475 is coming back from Paradise and has stopped at the picnic grove to dropped off and pick up passengers. When the video begins, she is just starting for her return trip back to East Strasburg. As she approaches, she whistles for the grade crossing up ahead and rumbles past towards Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.
