Zoom auto update on Mac causing my friend to be late to his zoom work meetings. no way to turn off
This is really annoying.
On my friends work laptop.. which is a mac.
Many times when he clicks on a link for a zoom meeting... instead of it just booting up and loading the meeting.. it instead...:
1. Auto updates.. which takes a few minutes.
2. It boots to the main screen of zoom.. instead of the actual zoom meeting.
So minutes after the meeting has started.. my friend has to open the outlook meeting window and click on zoom again.
Lame huh?
he tried looking for a way to disable auto update on zoom... but it's both a mac and an enterprise device.. so it might be handled by IT admins instead.
