10,000 to 15,000 Redfish Released into the Banana River
This is the first of many redfish releases on the East Coast of Florida by CCA Florida. In total, over 100,000 will be released over the next few months. This is an effort to restore the redfish population from Miami to New Smyrna Beach. We are working on restoring redfish and restoring mangrove shorelines, seagrass beds, and oysters, as well as adding over one million clams to the Indian River Lagoon system. It is going to take a lot to fix what we have done to our waterways, and it will take time. But you only fail if you don't try. Thank you, CCA Florida
