Pandemi COVID-19 la pouse tout moun voye je gad lasyans. Sa k’ap chache dènye pawòl lasyans di sou viris la, sa k’ap chèche trètman, sa k’ gentan ap panse ki prochen pandemi ki ka vini. E menm nan moman sa la, fenomèn natirèl “trombe marine” nan (poto dlo an Kreyòl) ki sot pase nan Fort-Liberté (Haiti) a la fè nou anvi konnen kisa kap pase menm. Menm jan tout jwèt, tankou marèl, domino, ak foutbòl, gen règ pa yo, lasyans gen règ pa l’ tou pou li fè nou konprann fenomèn sa yo ak lòt ankò pi byen.

Play hopscotch, understand science
The COVID-19 pandemic made all eye turned toward #science. While some are constantly digging for the latest research on the virus and possible treatments, others are wondering the next pandemic. Even recently, the waterspout that occurred in Fort-Liberté (#Haiti) has raised many questions about this natural phenomenon. Like every game, such as hopscotch, dominoes, and soccer, science has its rules. These rules guide scientists toward a tentative explanation of these phenomena.
In this video, I went over the scientific method. I also highlighted the importance of #diversity in the scientific field in terms of #personality, #social background, and #skills.
I #translated my explanation in #English and included them in the video as #subtitles.
