“Kijan pou nou glonfle balon san nou pa itilize bouch nou” (English translation below)
Dimanch ann Ayiti souvan gen yon ti atmosfè fèt. Souvan, se lè Dimanch moun fè fèt tankou fèt anivèsè, elatriye. Si fèt sa yo ap gen timoun, gen plis chans pou ou wè blad. Souvan, nou itilize bouch nou pou nou gonfle blad sa yo. Dèfwa, gonfle pil blad sa yo konn fè nou santi nou bouke. Timoun konn menm fè ti konpetisyon ant yo pou yo wè kiyès k’ap soufle plis blad pou yo fè dyòlè jan yo gen plis kouraj. Nan demonstrasyon sa, mwen pral montre nou kijan nou ka gonfle blad san nou pa itilize bouch nou. Mwen sèvi ak vinèg ak bikabonat mwen jwenn nan kizin lakay mwen pou mwen fè demonstrasyon an. Jodia se Dimanch. Pran timoun lakay nou, fè demonstrasyon an epi vinn di m’ sa nou panse.

“How to inflate a balloon without using your mouth”
Sundays in Haiti usually have a party atmosphere. Often, this day of the week is reserved for most celebrations, including birthdays. If these birthdays include kids, you will often see BALLOONS. We often use our mouth to inflate these balloons, which can be tiring sometimes. Kids would often compete to see who will inflate the most balloons to brag about how though they are. In this demonstration, I am going to show how you can inflate a balloon without using your mouth. I am going to use vinegar and baking soda from my kitchen to perform. Today is Sunday. Do this demonstration with your kids and let me know what you think.
