Hot winter drink - GERMAN GLÜHWEIN - mulled wine
It's winter and it's cold - perfect time for a mulled wine. In Germany known as Glühwein - "glowing wine" - which is enjoyed as a classic drink during winter holidays.
Ingredients in the video:
1 bottle red wine, dry
3 tsp of honey
2 organic oranges
3 pcs star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
10 pcs pimento
The ingredients depend on your wine. If it's sweet use less honey, if it's sour use more. You can also add lemon zest. If pimento is to spicy for you, you can instead use cloves. Enjoy!
