In Spider-Man 2 you really feel like Spider-Man swinging around with the exaggerated swagger of a black teen.
Shoutout to Black history month in USA / Canada!
In all serious not the biggest Peter Parker Spider-Man fan, and Miles Morales in this game / comics and movies addresses my concerns.
Peter Parker is always struggling in some capacity and he’s always broke but more than that I just don’t think he’s cool. Miles is cool and clever showing that you can be both.
Spoiler (kind of?): He’s clearly being geared to taking the mantle of Spider-Man but I’m sorry in this game he cut off Peter’s water and snatched his chain, he forced Peter to pass the mantle!
On a tangent Peter wasn’t in his best form in this game, I’m sure I’ve seen a compilation some where of him getting beat up (badly) in multiple scenes.
Back to miles, he actually quite OP invisibility and venom (electricity) powers is kind of crazy.

In this gameplay it was the endgame, maxed out level, clearing out the map
Also on zero web assist with difficulty set to ultimate
Jump from spectacular to ultimate not that big, I didn’t really feel the enemies being more aggressive or more alert during stealth just taking more damage.
But by the endgame I’m usually locked in 🔒and trying to play stylishly with no damage.
The parry in this game still feels weird to me but its satisying to pull off.
I really like Spider-Man 2 though I think it doesn’t innovate much but that’s not a bad thing the foundation was great. I can see myself hoping in frequently to swing around New York’s Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
One of the criticisms was about the game being too short which I see because the platinum really didn’t take that much time to be honest.
Would like to do a Peter Parker endgame video too hopefully Insomniac add some requested features like weather change, replay missions change venom tendril colours etc
I’m surprised I haven’t done a music video for any of the spider verse movies yet, but been thinking there’s a plethora of scenes to choose from in those films.
I don’t know what game I want to play next, Tekken just came out but the learning curve is very intimating, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League I would want to like but just looks terrible if I’m being frank.
