The Mandalorians, known for their warrior culture, have a history of conflict with the Jedi Order that culminated in a cataclysmic event that left much of Mandalore’s surface scorched into a lifeless desert. In response, the Mandalorian people developed weapons to counter the Jedi’s Force powers. They equipped a variety of specialized weapons into vambraces that a Jedi’s lightsaber could not easily counter, including blasters, darts, flamethrowers, and missiles, and many included whipcords designed to mimic the Jedi abilities Force push and Force pull. Their combat training emphasized adaptability and unpredictability, making it difficult for Jedi to anticipate their moves. And by working in teams, Mandalorians would overwhelm Jedi who typically fight alone. The Jedi may be formidable fighters, but Mandalorian skill, technology and armor made them the perfect opponent to combat Force-wielders.
