Japanese Culinary Art Award 2024-2025
The Japanese Culinary Art Award began as a Japanese cuisine competition and has now reached its ninth edition. In the previous edition, the event was renamed to the Japanese Culinary Art Award to place greater emphasis on celebrating each other's work rather than focusing solely on competition. Since 2013, when UNESCO designated traditional Japanese cuisine (Washoku) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, the global popularity of Japanese cuisine has continued to grow, and the industry is expanding rapidly. Through this event, we believe that new global networks among chefs will emerge, leading to innovation that will shape the future of Japanese cuisine.
We are pleased to announce that the grand prize winner has been successfully decided from among many outstanding entries. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, as well as the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City, and the various organizations and companies that have supported and contributed to this event. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
