This is my version of John Coltrane's "Countdown".
I recorded a bassline in Logic Pro X first, and then the other tracks in this order:
Drums
Vibes
Drums (re-recorded to interact with the vibes solo)
Piano
This tune is lots of fun! It always will be a work in progress.. It's slower than the original (I know) - mostly because I don't play drums too often and 280 bpm was about where I was comfortable with the ride cymbal.. I didn't want it to sound uptight - wanted to still have it be relaxed and grooving.
