Everyone has their own personal hero - for me, some heroes who come to mind are my parents, Vin Scully, Milt Jackson, and Anthony Bourdain, just to name a few. This piece was composed by Mulo Francel as a dedication to the everyday heroes that keep positivity alive!
I really love the meditative vibe we got into while playing this song.. we actually recorded both traditionally and directly to tape, which was really cool.
We recorded a bunch of songs in duo using only the vibraphone and sax/bass clarinet - and we will be releasing them all over the coming months!
