DCT or Dual-Clutch Transmissions are certainly not the most reliable technology in the world. Powershift and DSG are the most well-known and their common problems are with the clutch packs, TCUs, and also mechatronics.
In this short video, I will tell you more about the way you kill your DCT transmission. I will outline six important driving habits that reduce the lifespan of such units.
