Have you ever dreamt of a new electric vehicle that would cost you just several thousand dollars? If you visit Alibaba website or pretty much any Chinese marketplace, you can actually buy such an electric car. Cheap and good-looking, with good claimed driving range and great functions.
But what’s the problem? Why don’t you see hordes of these cheap EVs on American roads? Well, in this video, I will tell you more about the industry and about possible drawbacks of trying to buy an affordable EV from China.
I will tell you about the market and what it offers and then will take you to the legal questions of actually bringing and registering such a car in the US.
