How to Troubleshoot a Honeywell Zone Damper Motor!
On this service call the customer stated that airflow would not come out of his vents downstairs but upstairs was working fine. Upon diagnosing the air conditioner I found that the Honeywell zone damper motor was stuck closed feeding the downstairs. We ended up ordering a zone damper motor for this customer and once the damper motor was replaced the customer had no more problems with his air conditioner.
