How to Fix an Air Conditioner | Runs Continuously
On this service call the homeowner stated the air conditioner would come on and run constantly but never cool down the home. Upon diagnosing the unit I found that the compressor was not coming on to pump freon through the air conditioner.
One I started investigating I found that the dual capacitor at the condensing unit had gone bad and was causing the compressor not to run. I replaced the dual capacitor, checked the freon charge and the ac was operating properly.
Another homeowner happy to have their air conditioner back up and running again!!
