When asked if we could automatically lid card tubs our standard solution was the gentle rotary action RL lidder. The RL inline lidder picks and places card lids onto card tubs transported on the integral product transport belt at up to 60/min, then presses the lids onto the tubs using the adjustable height compression belt. The same machine is then changed over in minutes to handle a range of plastic tubs and lids. This solution replaced two operators and increased line output.
